Description:

Australia $20 Paper Banknotes - Consecutive Run of 3

Signatories: Fraser / Johnston

Serial numbers: RAT 270914, RAT 270915, RAT 270916 (3 consecutive notes)

Grade (our assessment): Uncirculated (UNC)

Obverse: Portrait of Sir Charles Kingsford Smith (aviation pioneer); Southern Cross constellation motif

Condition notes: All three notes are crisp with sharp corners. No visible folds, creases, pinholes, tears, or staining detected. Colors are vivid with strong red-orange, yellow, and pale green tones. Paper is fresh and bright throughout.

These three notes carry consecutive serial numbers RAT 270914, RAT 270915, and RAT 270916 - a desirable feature actively sought by banknote collectors, rarely found outside original bank bundles. Consecutive run lots in Uncirculated condition command a premium above face or individual note value. The pre-polymer $20 features Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, who completed the first trans-Pacific flight in 1928.
