Condition notes: Front face photographed; reverse not shown. Note is complete with no tears or missing sections. Colours remain vibrant with strong green, black, blue, and pink inks. Light evidence of handling including a faint horizontal fold near centre. Paper retains good body and crispness - not limp. Corners show only minor softening with no dog-ears. Some light edge darkening consistent with age. Overall a well-preserved example.



The 1987 Disney Dollar was the very first series issued by The Walt Disney Company, launched on 5 May 1987. The "A" serial prefix identifies this as a Disneyland (Anaheim, California) issue. Face features Mickey Mouse in classic pose; reverse depicts Sleeping Beauty Castle. The treasurer's signature reads "Scrooge McDuck." Disney Dollars were redeemable at par at Disney theme parks and the Disney Store. The programme was discontinued in 2016, making surviving examples increasingly popular with Disney and currency collectors alike.
