The obverse carries the kotinos, the ancient olive wreath awarded to Olympic victors, surrounded by 12 EU stars and the denomination "100 EYPO". The reverse presents a detailed panoramic relief of the Acropolis with the Parthenon rendered in fine detail. It is a design of genuine artistic weight.



The coin presents in proof condition with mirrored fields and frosted design elements. Both faces show some fingerprint transfer in the fields, consistent with handling and not indicative of deliberate cleaning.
