Three reigns of Australian halfpennies, already collected and housed in a dedicated coin album. The hard work of accumulating 79 copper halfpennies spanning the reigns of King George V (from 1911), King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II has already been done. Early George V issues show heavier wear and darker patina, while later Elizabeth II pieces retain more of their original reddish-copper colour. Overall grades range from Very Good (VG-8) to Very Fine (VF-30) across the collection. The album is a purpose-made halfpenny board, which is a useful display item in its own right. Please note the collection is not complete. Several spaces remain unfilled throughout the album, including the key-date 1923 halfpenny which is absent. Buyers should review all photographs carefully to assess what is present before bidding. A solid foundation for anyone looking to continue building the series toward completion, with the work of finding many of the dates already done. Sold as seen.
