Overview
Fiat 450 two-wheel-drive tractor in orange with an open operator station. The dash-mounted hour meter reads 0020 hours. The tractor is fitted with a three-point linkage and rear PTO, with a Dondi Selector-Speed 675 rotary hoe attached via the three-point linkage and PTO shaft.
The operator station has a vinyl-covered seat, a steering wheel, perforated metal footplates, multiple gear shift levers, a Fiat-branded instrument cluster with temperature gauge, tachometer and hour meter, and a metal toolbox mounted on the right-hand side behind the engine.
Condition
The bonnet and mudguards present in orange paint with a glossy finish and appear to have been repainted. The tinwork is straight with panel joins visible. The engine bay shows an inline engine with a fuel filter, oil filter and injection pump visible. The exhaust manifold pipe shows surface corrosion. The mechanical components in the operator area and around the transmission housing show a general patina consistent with age.
The front tyres are Harvest brand, size 6.00-16, with tread blocks still defined. The rear tyres are Goodyear brand with tread lugs showing moderate wear and some rounding at the edges. The white-painted rims are intact on all four wheels.
The Dondi rotary hoe shows heavy paint wear and flaking across the cover plates and side skirts, with surface rust visible on the housing and flap. The gearbox casting reads "Dondi selector-speed 675" and shows paint loss and corrosion. The data plate on the rotary hoe body reads "Pietro Dondi & Figli" with model reference "DCVSM 180 83" and further characters "12" and "G 2" on the lower line. The speed chart plate on the gearbox housing is partially legible.
