A set of three framed embroidered textile panels presented in ornate gilt-finished frames with scrollwork detailing. 100cm x 50cm. The set comprises a pair of matching vertical panels depicting herons in a wetland scene, and one horizontal panel depicting a couple in a coastal scene with roses and a sailing boat.

* Pair of vertical panels: each features a hand-embroidered heron standing among bulrushes, water lilies and stylised trees on a cream linen or cotton ground, mounted on a pink/salmon fabric border within matching ornate gilt frames
* Horizontal panel: features a hand-embroidered scene of a man and woman in a coastal setting with roses flanking the composition, a sailing boat in the background, and a blue banner at the base with embroidered text reading what appears to be Greek characters
* All three panels are presented in ornate gilt-finished frames with acanthus leaf and scrollwork moulding

Condition Notes
The embroidered panels show age-related toning and discolouration to the fabric ground, visible across all three pieces. The horizontal panel displays a noticeable stain or water mark to the upper left area of the fabric. The vertical panels show scattered marks and spots on the cream ground. The gilt frames show wear and patina consistent with age, with some areas of finish loss visible. The embroidery work itself appears intact across all three panels. The pink fabric borders on the vertical pair show some toning.
